It is hard to wear something that you yourself aren’t confident and comfortable to project your personality and style. Judges may notice that you are uneasy with the gown you choose and that would be a weak score on those criteria.
Consider your undergarment. A nipple cover, low-cut or an off shoulders bra would work in wonderful ways. Nowadays, most of pageant gowns show off more skin. However, you should be careful not to reveal too much of your skin. Be well versed with pageant rules. A haltered or a backless gown is most considered by most due to stylish look. Sleeves for your gown may add a winning touch to your outfit.
Pageant gowns are not a typical prom gown. Pageant gowns are less sophisticated and much more elegant than prom gowns. A pageant long gown is with less beadings, bows and gems. A simple beading designs of crystal and pearl can turn your gown to a dazzling gown. Pick the right length of gown. Everyone has its own unique individual body. Some may fit into a long gown that would make you look taller and slimmer. Do not pick a gown with so overly long trails to avoid accidents. Your high heels should be at least 3 – 4 inches high for smooth and graceful glide with your stunning gown. Black is a classic color. This is a color that everybody can wear. White is also a stunning color and it stands out alone especially when light hits you. You outshine the rest of the contestants. Gown color is an important factor to consider in judging. Choose colors that best suit your skin tone. Never choose a color just because it’s your favorite color. It’s not because it’s your favorite color then you can carry yourself all throughout the pageant night.
Internet is another wide source of pageant gown design. Do not limit yourself in selecting gowns in your local boutique store. Always make sure that you select a gown that best fits your body size and shape. Gowns are typically made from silk, satin and cotton. Silk fabric is alluring when it fits your body curve all the time. Sometimes a perfect gown is not as perfect as what you thought. Take extra care of your gown before the big event arrives. Never let your gown hung on hungers. It is much better to lay your gown flat for a more presentable outfit. Tiffany Hansenn is a contributor to a leading beauty pageant advice website.
